Intersection

A raymarching experiment that warps space with fluid, organic distortions. Two spheres dynamically reshape their surroundings—rippling through color, texture, and depth. Their Z-axis displacement influences material roughness, creating an ever-evolving interplay of form and light. Integrated with Ultraleap 3Di, allowing intuitive hand-gesture control in a three-dimensional space. The web version transforms this interaction into a spontaneous, unpredictable movement

Silver Lake

"Silver Lake," Inspired by the works of Paul Chiang, transcends the depiction of lakes and ventures into cosmic abstraction. This piece translates Chiang's expressive brushstrokes, shimmering waves and the interplay of light within tranquility into a dynamic visual atmosphere. The animation captures the layering of brush textures and the fluid movement of light, revealing the delicate balance between darkness and illumination.

CHASS Dynamic VI

This dynamic brand identity system reimagines visual identity as an ever-evolving entity. Rooted in adaptability, the design maintains a consistent core structure while allowing elements like proportions and spacing to shift fluidly. Inspired by traditional human-based measurement units, the system reflects the interdisciplinary nature of the humanities and arts, symbolizing limitless academic exploration. The accompanying sound design, centered around the ‘A’ note, blends real instruments with digital synthesis, triggering harmonized tones. Interplay between sight and sound creates a cohesive, immersive identity where motion and audio evolve in sync."

Who is, the artist?

This generative art work explores the differences between the way that computer and human form the composition. The artwork offers two distinct experiences. The first involves human intervention. The second approach involves only programming and algorithmic execution, which automatically completing the entire image. By employing these two different painting methods, the contrasting thought processes between humans and computers can be observed.

Mochi

Mochi is an interactive experience exploring soft-body physics through playful digital interactions. Inspired by the squishy, elastic nature of real mochi, this project simulates dynamic deformations and realistic responses to user input. The virtual mochi stretches, squishes, and bounces in reaction to forces, creating an organic and satisfying interaction. By integrating procedural animation and physics-based simulation, Mochi brings digital materiality to life, offering a visually and haptically engaging experience. The project invites users to explore elasticity and form in an interactive space.
